We're Rooted In Community & Ag Education

For 85 years, we have walked beside our customers to help navigate the increasingly tough world of agriculture. As a company, we take great pride in partnering with growers across the region on a variety of initiatives and this dedication has allowed us to create strong, deep relationships with family farms. Our commitment to people, innovation, performance, and integrity are at the root of who we are.

The bond we share with farm families also ties us to the rural communities that they call home. When they succeed, we succeed, and when they struggle, we feel the call to help in whatever way we can. This is why, during the 2019 floods in rural Nebraska, Jacobsen Seed sprung into action. We collected eight large truckloads containing hay, farm supplies, food, clothing, and cleaning supplies, and delivered it to assist the people of rural Northeast Nebraska in their time of need.

It is also why we want to support agricultural education throughout the territory we serve. We work hard at creating advantages for our growers and advancing agriculture education is critical to the future of rural America. We know that funding these educational opportunities can be challenging and want to give rural communities the opportunity to succeed.

The Jacobsen Seed “Rooted in Community Grant” was created to support those who are working to advance ag education in their area. Organizations such as FFA chapters, County 4-H pro-grams or County Fair Boards can apply for a grant to support learning and growth in Agronomy, Biotechnology, Crop Management or Crop Physiology. Four (4) annual grants in the amount of $500 each are available. To apply, please fill out the application form below and submit no later than May 31, 2023, for consideration.
