CORN TRAIT INFORMATION

Roundup Ready® Corn 2 (R) Roundup Ready® Corn 2 (R) contains in-plant tolerance to Roundup® brand herbicides, enabling growers to spray Roundup® brands over the top, from planting through the V8 stage or 30-inch corn height, with excellent crop safety and no yield reduction. Compared to popular conventional corn programs, the Roundup Ready® Corn 2 system costs less, while allowing hybrids to reach their maximum yield potential.

VT Double PRO® RIB Complete® Corn Blend (VT2PRO RIB) VT Double PRO® RIB Complete® Corn Blend (VT2PRO RIB) is a mix of 95% traited and 5% refuge seed. With refuge-in-a-bag, there’s no need to calculate or plant separate, structured refuge in the Corn-Growing Area. It contains dual modes of action for maximum protection against corn earworm and other above-ground pests, like European and Southwestern corn borers and fall armyworm. Tolerant to glyphosate.

DroughtGard® VT Double PRO® Corn (DGVT2P) DroughtGard® Hybrids with VT Double PRO® RIB Complete® Corn Blend contain the first double-stacked trait with dual modes of action for above ground insects and maximum protection against corn earworm. Superior genetics along with innovative drought-tolerant trait technology helps DroughtGard® Hybrids withstand drought conditions for a better chance of maximizing kernels per ear and overall yield potential. Tolerant to glyphosate.

SmartStax® RIB Complete® Corn Blend (SS RIB) is a mix of 95% Bt. traited, 5% refuge seed. You get all the benefits of SmartStax® technology, plus the convenience of 5% refuge seed interspersed in every bag. It has proven to have a 10 bu/A advantage over non-Bt. traited corn and a 20 bu/A advantage over non-Bt. treated corn + a soil-applied insecticide.* SmartStax® corn is tolerant to both glyphosate and glufosimate herbicides.

*In moderate to high rootworm pressure situations, SmartStax® RIB Complete® corn blend products provided an average 20 bu/acre advantage over products without Bt corn rootworm protection and an average 10 bu/acre advantage over products without Bt corn rootworm protection used in combination with a soil-applied insecticide. TD Sites in IL, IA, KS, CO, NE, WI, MI, IN, MN, SD, OH, DE (2010-2013)100-112RM; N = 46 protocol site years under moderate and high CRW pressure. Moderate Pressure = untreated check averaged > 0.5-1.0. High Pressure = locations where untreated check averaged > 1.0.

SmartStax® PRO with RNAi Technology (SSP) Above and below ground pest protection. 3x greater root node protection. An innovative RNAi-based mode of action.

VT4PRO™ with RNAi Technology (VT4P) Includes RNAI technology. VT4 combines three built-in modes of action in Trecepta technology, an elite above-ground pest with two below-ground modes of action. Built-in insect protection right out of the bag.

PowerCore® Enlist® Refuge Advanced® (PCE) Trait technology delivers superior control of above-ground insects in corn.

Trecepta® RIB Complete® Corn Blend (TRE) Technology contains CrylA. 105, Cry2Ab2 and Vip3Aa20 from Bt that together controls European corn borer, southwestern corn borer, southern cornstalk borer, corn earworm, fall armyworm, stalk borer, sugarcane borer, beet armyworm, true armyworm, black cutworm, western bean cutworm, lesser cornstalk borer and dingy cutworm. Products containing this technology also contain Roundup Ready 2 Technology that provides tolerance to in-crop applications of labeled glyphosate herbicides when applied according to label directions.

Agrisure® GT (GT) Hybrids with the Agrisure® GT (GT ) trait provide excellent tolerance to in-crop applications of glyphosate-based herbicides.

V (aka Viptera®) Trait stack protects yield potential while helping deliver cleaner ears for increased grain quality. Viptera provides excellent control of ear, stalk and leaf feeding insects and is the only trait technology on the market for effective western bean cutworm control.

D (aka Duracade®) Trait stack offer control of corn borer and corn rootworm with tolerance to both glyphosate and glufosinate herbicides.

DV (aka DuracadeViptera™) Trait stack offers the industry’s most comprehensive control of 16 damaging above and below ground pests including earworms, cutworms, armyworms, borers and rootworms more than any other competitive trait stack.

AA (aka Agrisure® Above) This product produces the Bacillus thuringiensis CrylAb, and CrylF insecticidal proteins. These proteins provide control of suppression of European corn borer, Southwestern corn borer, Sothern cornstalk borer, corn earworm, beet armyworm, fall armyworm, black cutworm, sugarcane borer, lesser cornstalk borer, common stalk borer.

SOYBEAN TRAIT INFORMATION

Enlist E3™

Enlist E3® is the first three-gene, herbicide tolerant trait stack that pairs exceptional weed controls with elite varieties and outstanding yields. Growers can meet tough to control weeds head on using Enlist E3® beans with tolerance to 2, 4-D choline, glyphosate, and glufosinate herbicides. This herbicide flexibility, along with strong yield and disease traits, will help to maximize profits on every acre.

XtendFlex® Soybeans

Built on high-yielding Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® Technology, XtendFlex® soybeans provide farmers with yet another option to drive and protect their yield potential with triple-stacked tolerance to dicamba, glyphosate and glufosinate.
• Count on high-yielding performance with your choice of three effective herbicides to support the ways you manage your fields’ unique weed challenges.
• Choose up to 14 day residual soil activity on certain small-seeded broadleaf weeds*.
• XtendFlex soybeans yielded a 4.0 bu/A advantage on average2 vs. Enlist E3® soybeans.
• *Results may vary depending on rainfall and soil type. Always use dicamba with residual herbicides in preemergence and postemergence applications that have different, effective sites of action, along with other Diversified Weed Management Practices.
• 2Data as of October 22, 2020. 2020 Bayer Commercial Germplasm Trials (94 locations in 2020 reporting data located in IL, IN, IA, KS, MD, MI, MN, MO, NE, OH, SD, TN, and WI) Bayer Commercial Germplasm Trials = 9 of the top 10 volume forecasted XtendFlex products.
